Nature photography calendars

February 12th, 2010

The Audubon Society publishes roughly two kinds of calendars:

  1. Calendars featuring the work of John James Audubon reproduced
  2. Calendars featuring wildlife photographs

I’ve found you both on my hub devoted to Audubon Wildlife and Nature Calendars.

Unique calendars that deserve attention

September 28th, 2009

I think it’s probably clear by now, I love unique calendars. I’m especially into spiritual and religious calendars of course. Yoga calendars and planners for instance. But how about these cute calendars with baby pictures? Or, for the parents among you, these planners to help teens get organised?

New Calendars September 2009 for 2010

September 21st, 2009

I’m going big into the calendar niche this year and have published several lenses about calendars this past month. The themes I’ve explored are: wildlife and nature, surrealism, green living and fine fairy fantasy art.

When I saw these Cute Baby Animals Calendars and Planners I really could not avoid making a lens about them. I mean who can resist baby animals, all that fur?

Similarly Hummingbirds are surely the most beautiful songbirds ever.

When I found the art calendars by Susan Bourdet I was impressed by her use of color and the realism of her nature paintings.

Speaking of songbirds, there were Beautiful Songbird photography calendars and planners as well as
Songbird art calendars for 2010.

Ecologically sound living is hot right now, which is why there are a few (not that many) calendars out there devoted to Green Living Tips.

I love Surrealistic Art, so it was natural to make a page about calendars devoted to the subject. The most famous surrealist artist is of course Salvador Dali and there are plenty of calendars out there devoted to his work.

Tibet is probably the most famous of territories currently occupied by a foreign nation. These calendars are devoted to Tibet and share not just the religion, or photographs of monks, but also of the landscape and the people.

One of the religions I tend to ignore is Judaism. Yet there are some great Jewish calendars and planners available.

Last but not least – who doesn’t love Fairies? These wonderful fantasy pictures will delight young girls and grown up women. Some are even done so well that men may like them too…
